Working Height, Platform Height and Tower Height

Each narrow tower model is listed with three heights. Knowing the difference stops you renting a tower that is too short or paying for one that is too tall.

Platform height

The height of the deck the worker stands on. It ranges from 1.2 m on the IN022 to 11.3 m on the IN124.

Working height

How high a person standing on the platform can comfortably reach. On every model it is 2 m above the platform height.

Tower height

The overall height of the structure, including the guardrails above the platform. On every model it is 1 m above the platform height.

At 0.75 m wide, the narrow tower works in corridors, aisles and plant rooms where a 1.35 m tower cannot be positioned.

Fitting a Narrow Tower Through Doors and Corridors

In heritage buildings, offices and apartments, the biggest problem is often getting scaffolding to the work area. Standard scaffold frames are typically 1.3 to 1.5 metres wide and will not pass through a 0.9 metre doorway or down a narrow corridor. Our narrow scaffolding is 0.75 metres wide, so it fits through standard doors and can be moved from room to room without dismantling and reassembling, which saves time for interior decorators, electrical contractors and HVAC technicians.
